Good afternoon everyone!
Well, here we are, just about to wrap up our first month with February fast approaching. We really hope that everyone has enjoyed a month of deep squats, The Comfort Crisis, and our first group outing. With just a few days to go, we're encouraging everyone to dig deep, finish strong and get ready to roll into another month of challenges.
JANUARY RECAP
Last Sunday's ruck was a huge success! 22 brave members made it out to tackle the 10km ruck in the snow. I heard from a handful of people who weren't able to make it and if that is you, there is still time to get it done. Remember, the community is here for you so if you don't want to go it alone, feel free to reach out to a fellow Collective Health member if you need a rucking partner - everyone is here to help and support. (You can request a rucking partner here).
FEBRUARY 2022
This month's challenges, should you choose to accept, are similar and still designed to push you out of your comfort zone (are we seeing a trend here?).

Healthy Habit
Aim to be in bed and sleeping by 10:00pm (told you this wouldn't be easy). Part two of this challenge is to obtain and use a sleep mask every night as well.

Group Workout
This month's group workout is in partner format:
1.5km ruck, followed by 31 push ups each (these can be done from toes, knees, against a tree, etc.)
Then,
20 Rounds
Alternating 10 each with a sandbag, kettlebell or ruck:
-3 deadlifts
-3 clean & jerks
-3 front squats
The 'cash out' to finish the workout is another 31 push ups each, followed by a second 1.5km ruck.
*We have sandbags, kettlebells, and rucks if needed. If you have extra, please bring some out for your fellow collective members to share as well.

It should be mentioned here that if you are truly interested in gaining the most reward from these challenges throughout the year, we strongly suggest you consider 'Habit Stacking' as you go.
This month's healthy habit is different from last month but there's no one saying that you can't continue finding a few minutes during your day to sit in a deep squat. This might not be doable every day but that's ok. Just do it when you can.
The aim for these habits, readings, and workouts is to push you out of your comfort zone, yes, but also to help fully develop you as an individual in many different domains. Habit stacking when you can over the course of twelve months will undoubtedly transform who you are by 2023. Just some food for thought.
